One of this year’s experimental activities was a decision to stay on the New Forest Folk Festival site but I was informed that a tent was not to be considered. The answer to my problems was supplied by Wessex Caravan Services who supplied a caravan and set it up for a reasonable price and at the end of the festival came and collected it while I enjoyed a final breakfast at the Breakfast Bar.
As it was our first stay in a caravan we were given a guided tour of the facilities and were able to enjoy them. Next year we have decided to pay the extra to have an awning included so that we can sit out in shelter from the sun.
